Sensitive Tastes?

People say kid's taste buds are more sensitive than grown-ups. If that is true, then why is it that grown-ups are more sensitive to sweets?

Yes or No

When I was a little kid, questions like "so you don't want this?" used to confuse me. Should I say yes or no? I usually replied "yes," meaning yes, you are correct, I don't want it, but you are suppose to say no meaning no, I do not want it.

Carbon?

Everybody knows that we are in a huge environmental crisis about there being too much carbon dioxide in the air. One way scientists are trying to solve this problem is by changing the carbon dioxide into a different more helpful substance. One way is to change carbon dioxide into oxygen, but then you would have way too many carbon molecules. So, my question is what are carbon molecules used for? If we can find out something which a lot of carbon is used, all we need to do is separate the carbon molecule from the two oxygen molecules and then we have a solution.

My amazing sister found an amazing website named TED. Basically it is awesome talks about anything. They have talks from music to business and from diseases to how the mind works.

How do Subway/Metro cards work?

Well, this is my first question for the public. How do those Subway/Metro cards work? I mean they are just flat bits of plastic. How do those machines that scan your card know it is right card and not some other fake card?

The Sense of Uncommon Nonsense

My sister's dorm at college in her freshmen year had a little carving above the fireplace. This is what it said "The room of un common non sense," the same as the title of this blog.
